As Belize gets ready to celebrate its 38th anniversary of Independence on September 21st, 2019, there are many things which evidences the commitment to growth and improvement within our country. We here in the international financial services industry have seen many changes over the last few years. Today we are excited to share with you a new venture which showcases the growth of our office and our renewed commitment to providing our customers with the highest standards of service. We take great pride in announcing the rebranding of the registry.
Effective today, the office of the International Business Companies Registry (IBCR) will change its name to Belize International Corporate Affairs Registry (BICAR). This change of name signifies the incorporation of the four registries, namely that of the IBCR, Trust, International Foundation and Limited Liabilities Companies.
We believe that this change in name clearly defines our corporate identity, illustrates a more accurate corporate representation and expresses the comprehensive services which we provide. Additionally, as a part of this rebranding initiative, BICAR will also introduce a new, primarily staff inspired logo. The new logo is a creatively depicted compass. Each point of the compass represents one of the four registries in unity. This new logo is a representation of our high standard of efficiency and competency in aiding and providing guidance for all your corporate needs, our committed unity for mutual growth within the industry and a brighter tomorrow for all.
A copy of the new logo is shown below, and it will be illustrated on all relevant corporate documents. This rebranding will in no way negatively affect or delay the services currently being provided to our agents.
